<image:title>Our Vision - For countless girls in Uganda, there is nowhere to go but forward.</image:title>
<image:caption>We aim to provide stability and security for young women in Kampala because we believe in helping them move forward. In Uganda, education is all private, and many of our beneficiaries cannot afford the US$50 per year tuition. By helping to fund their education and providing them with school supplies, we aim to instill hope and structure to these young women’s lives. We fear that without such a foundation, our beneficiaries would turn towards child marriage. These damaging unions traditionally result in higher rates of sexual violence, HIV/AIDS transmission, maternal mortality, influent mortality, mental health issues, and domestic violence; according to to a 2005 UNICEF study, 36% of child brides in Uganda thought it was acceptable for their husbands to beat them. By providing a more consistent schedule and life skills through our projects, we hope that we can help our beneficiaries improve their mental health and confidence, give them more structure in their lives, and help them build a bridge out of poverty. Thank you in advance for your generous support of our projects. We are a small, brand-new organization and we work closely alongside these young women every single day. Our beneficiaries will know about your support, and it will mean a lot to them. We look forward to welcoming you to our community. — Griffin Wong Fundraising and Marketing Director, Forward Pass Foundation Uganda</image:caption>

<image:caption>We believe in helping girls improve their confidence and mental health through after-school programs like our Fire Gates Netball Club. Playing such a collaborative sport will inspire our students to work hard, trust each other and themselves, and provide the structure necessary to keep them in school. Additionally, they can meet other inspiring girls from around the city and country through our matches against rival squads.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Griffin, who works remotely from Los Angeles, USA, joined our foundation in its infancy in December 2019, during his second trip to Uganda. He is the designer, creator, and manager of our website and also raised the first UGX$9,000,000 our foundation ever received by rallying his friends and family around our cause. Just 20 years old, he has traveled to all six inhabited continents and emphasizes the value of his relationships with locals everywhere he has been. Griffin will attend Harvard University as a member of the Class of 2024 and intends to obtain a degree in Sociology, but will continue to work with the Forward Pass Foundation from college. “I’ve always said that if there was one issue that, if we could solve it, would make the biggest impact on the world, it would be to make sure every girl gets a quality education.” - GRIFFIN WONG</image:caption>
